أكد القائم بالأعمال في سفارة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بالجزائر، السيد رايان بالسوك، أهمية تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في قطاع الرعاية الصحية، وذلك خلال مشاركته في افتتاح منتدى حول الابتكار والتعاون الاستراتيجي بين الولايات المتحدة والجزائر في المجال الصحي.

وأعرب بالسوك عن اعتزاز سفارة بلاده بالمشاركة في تنظيم هذا المنتدى بالتعاون مع غرفة التجارة الأمريكية في الجزائر، مشيرًا إلى أن الحدث يجسد عمق الشراكة والالتزام المشترك بين البلدين، كما يعكس قدرة الشركات الأمريكية على الإسهام بالعلوم والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة لدعم تطوير قطاع الصحة في الجزائر، من خلال تعاون وثيق مع المهنيين والمؤسسات والوزارات الجزائرية.

وأوضح القائم بالأعمال أن حضور الشركات الأمريكية في الجزائر لا يقتصر على الجانب التجاري فحسب، بل يمتد إلى دعم وتعزيز نظام الرعاية الصحية، بما يتيح للمواطنين الجزائريين الاستفادة من الخدمات والمعدات الطبية المتطورة، في مقابل استفادة هذه الشركات من الشراكات مع الكفاءات الجزائرية من أطباء وباحثين وصناع قرار.

كما أشار إلى أن العلاقات الثنائية بين الولايات المتحدة والجزائر تشهد نموًا متواصلًا في عدة قطاعات، من بينها الطاقة والزراعة والتكنولوجيا، مؤكدًا أن قطاع الرعاية الصحية يمثل مجالًا حيويًا قادرًا على تحقيق فوائد مستدامة للمواطنين الجزائريين.

واختتم بالسوك كلمته بالإشادة بغرفة التجارة الأمريكية على تنظيم المنتدى، موجّهًا شكره للوزارات والهيئات ومهنيي الصحة على انفتاحهم وثقتهم في تطوير المنظومة الصحية، معربًا عن تطلعه إلى رؤية أثر إيجابي لهذا الحدث واستمرار نمو التعاون بين البلدين في السنوات المقبلة.

The Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Algeria, Mr. Ryan Balsok, emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector during his participation in the opening of a forum on innovation and strategic cooperation between the United States and Algeria in the health field.

Balsok expressed the embassy’s pride in participating in the organization of this forum in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Algeria, noting that the event reflects the depth of partnership and shared commitment between the two countries. He added that it also demonstrates the ability of U.S. companies to contribute advanced science and technology to support the development of Algeria’s health sector through close cooperation with Algerian professionals, institutions, and ministries.

The Chargé d’Affaires explained that the presence of U.S. companies in Algeria is not limited to the commercial aspect, but also extends to supporting and strengthening the country’s healthcare system, enabling Algerian citizens to benefit from advanced medical services and equipment, while these companies benefit from partnerships with talented Algerian doctors, researchers, and decision-makers.

He also pointed out that bilateral relations between the United States and Algeria are witnessing continuous growth across several sectors, including energy, agriculture, and technology, stressing that the healthcare sector represents a vital field capable of delivering lasting benefits to Algerian citizens.
